Typically, when should i expect highest/lowest FPS when playing FC.
I can play interior/exterior locations at 30FPS easily, but as soon as enter dense jungle.....10FPS!?
    Why?

    Ok BMFNKMC,
You get the award for the today's least amount of information in a post.
If by chance you are someone new to posting or at least asking for help, may I offer the following suggestions.

As a rule you can never give too much detail about what your seeing and about your system specs are. Though I would suggest that you keep your post(s) like a Girl's skirt, Long enough to cover the subject, but short enough to make it interesting.

With that out of the way, have you browsed through the forums and looked at other peoples problems and seen what they did to fix it. Have you look at the differnt post talking about benchmarks and what to expect ?

Here is a thread that has some benchmark numbers to compare to. Note the numbers are the average and don't realy tell the min drops, which sometimes are the teens like you've seen
    http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?q=Y...4614#581104614.

If this doesn't answer you question, respond back and give us some specs and we'll take turns guessing at the problem and making suggestions

    Dale

HeHe, I'm such a newb. I had just read his cooling post before reading this one and didn't pay attention to the name.

Maybe that will be my 2nd suggestion, don't expect people to have read or remember specs from a differnt post.

If you can, the one thing that raised my FPS from a 40 FPS max to 75 max was 1 GB of ram. Believe it or not RAM is very crucial to gamming and i'm sure you'd see some serious FPS improvements

BMFNKMC, based off your other post. With your card, you shouldn't be doing any AA or Ansi, has that card doesn't have the horsepower to handle it.

Shadow, come on man. At least try to address the problem before saying buy new hardware. Not that a new card is a bad ideal, but you have to at least pretend to care

Annihilator, If you follow Poppa's link to the other thread, you'll see he's got 1 GB of DDR400 memory.
