# Thread: The Truth Code Wheel Puzzles | Forums

1. These things are the bane of my existence when I play AC. I am going back to play through AC2 and Brotherhood this Summer before Revelations. I don't remember the solutions to some puzzles. And I'm not looking for specific answers.

What I'm looking for is tips on how to think my way through them so I can solve them on my own. I remember staring at that Sumerian number puzzle in AC2 for an hour before I gave up and looked online for the solution. Or the one in Brotherhood with Mount Washington and the coordinates code wheel.

How can I better think my way through these puzzles so I have the satisfaction of figuring them out on my own?

Or is everyone just as stuck on these as I am?

3. First get the rings in place that depend on other rings. Most puzzles leave you with a single ring for last that way.

The last few are a bit trickier, but I'm too intoxicated to write a proper guide for solving those.

4. No, not the ring alignment puzzles. The ones where you have these symbols that correspond to some number and you have to figure it out.

6. I think you're talking about the code wheels where some of the spaces are blank. There is a pattern to the random symbols, it's just a complete pain and some of the pattens are incredibly difficult without first having the answer.

Go look up some of the answers on youtube before you start playing and see if you can't pull out the patterns. It could help.

7. Ah, those.

Told you I was too intoxicated yesterday.

But yeh, it's pretty much like B2S said already. There is a pattern in all of them, but if you can't see it, your only option is to hit the internet.

8. Well OK then, thanks! Apparently I'm not the only one who went to the Internet for answers. That makes me feel better!

I'm still going to put my thinking cap on and try harder to see patterns. If not...to Google!!

At least I won't be so frustrated this time if I don't figure them out.

Maybe I'll try them after I've had a few beers...it may help?!

9. There IS a way of doing them quite easily but it's a nightmare to explain. I'll do my best and if you don't get it then never mind.

Obviously the first step is to figure out the pattern, and if you can't figure out the pattern exactly then the best thing you can do is know roughly what's going to be put in place or what the shape/number is going to look like (e.g. Number of sides, how big the number is or what it ends in etc).

Let's say the number code you're looking for is

7-4-2

You're given the shape (for example) for the number 2 but not for 7 or 4. The order of the shapes or numbers that you can input on the left side of the screen have a habit of being in the same order as the code wheel, so you can cycle through those until you come to one that isn't given and possibly fits in that gap. Ah, this is too convuluted to explain, I give up. I was about to go into something about gaps and alignment but without a physical example I can't picture it or explain it. I hope my brief and useless piece of text up there helps somewhat

(Nice name btw )
