Thread: Can't even start GRAW 2 | Forums

1. #1
Here's my problem, I've installed the game, and it went smoothly, however, I can't even start the game.

I get past the splash screen, then the screen turns black, goes back to my desktop and shows this:

Crash in application version: 30292.2673

Unhandled exception - breakpoint

C STACK:
graw2 (???) : ???
graw2 (???) : ???
graw2 (???) : ???
??? (???) : ???

Renderer: threaded
Physics : threaded

What's going on here? I've disabled threaded optimization, turned on triple buffering, and forced off Vsync, but the game still refuses to launch. I've searched on the forums, and on google, but I've found no answer for my problem.

My systems specs are as follows

OS: Vista 32-bit
Processor: Intel, I'm not sure what kind, DXDiag does not list it. But, it meets the recommended requirement for this gmae
GPU: Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS
3gb of RAM
Direct X 9.0c

are you running the 1.03 patch?
3 gig ram, not paired??? or 2x 1024 and 2x 512 mb (which won't work properly I believe, but I'm no expert)
Vista... have you got the latest drivers?
Do you use a soundcard?
Please try to find out the processor type...
maybe a pentium 4 without soundcard.... give torubles by having to process the sound for the game too. even putting in an old soundblaster live will give the cpu a break....
good luck
