My uncle was right when he told me to stay with the Gato class in TMO. He, and now I, always have issues with the Balao.

After all, Ducimus created the mod with no thought of reward and no guarantee of being bug free.
I take it that the Balao was offered after you had proven yourself a worthy commander and you accepted the upgrade. Which is neither here nor there.
The best method of commanding a Balao with TMO that I have found is to get one at the start of a campaign through "New Construction" in '43. That way you are assured of having your SJ antennae in the proper place... Even with the top of the shears.
You could always send DucimusRapax a PM detailing the problem along with a request to fix it. After all of the hard work he's done to make this sim what it is today through TMO, he may still be burned out and suggest my remedy or he'll graciously decline. Nothing more can be expected and we certainly can't demand it.

I have no problems what so ever with TMO, the game is unplayable without TMO, once you've had it. I think it is a stock bug that pops up, I believe I have seen a similar post about the SJ dropping to a lower area.........I can live with it, it's only an 8ft depth difference.
I always start from Dec 41, never started a mid-war career before. I wouldn't bother Ducimus with such a petty thing, he's done such an awesome job making sh4 enjoyable....I was only posting about this small bug to get if off my chest, posting here is cheaper than going to see a therapist.
It is just a bug in that career, probably won't happen with your next.
