I had a 7900GS that was overclocked high, it ran everything fine, I changed to a 8800GTS 320MB so I could increase the graphics in Vegas.

I ment, uninstall the patch, it should be on your "Add/Remove Programs" section of "Control Panel"

256mb 7900gs

2.50mhz dual core

ddr2 2gb ram

There is no patch in add remove progams/just the game itself and no option to uninstall jsut the patch from the uninstall option.

Sorry, I took a shoot as I don't have the full game yet and as I recalled, GRAW1 and patch 1.35 had different installations so you were able to uninstall it.

Well, if you really want to play this game and you have time on your hands, I would:

1.- Unistall the whole game, all of it, even the Save game (make a back-up of your save games if you wish) and make sure there is no UBISOFT folder under C:\program files.

2.- Restart your PC

3.- Run a good Registry Cleaner program to make sure there are no instances of GRAW 2 running around.

4.- Restart PC again

5.- Install a fresh copy of the Full GRAW 2 game and test it to see if you can play w/o any hassles. Do not install the patch just yet until more answers can be given about it.

Do you have the latest drivers for your sound & video cards? What about forceware drivers? Mouse & Keyboard latest firmaware? Vista latest Updates? Bios Updates? Applications running in the background that shouldn't be there? (e.g.: Adobe, Creative c/panel, etc, etc. things that you can start when you need/want them), Malaware, Spyware, Anti-virus check? Defrag your HDD. Did you have the MP or SP GRAW 2 demo installed? get them out if you did as you no longer need them and they may conflict with each other.

Phewww, I have a terrible headache all of a sudden so I'll stop now if you don't mind!

Explain a bit more... when are you getting the error, did you do what I said on my previous posts? Were you able to get into the game but got that error?

To many questions... to many headaches!

It seems that you have to have tons and tons of patience if you want to play the latest games as of late. How happy were those days when you used to put the cd in the CD tray and the game would install and you inmediately began to play the game... where did those days go?
