Mouse and game play has become very choppy since latest patch, I have turned off aa and reduced resolution but no change, the game is now unplayable.

Vista, 2gb, ram 259, nvidia gs7900,creative xfi sound card.

Can we roll back the patches??
    Any help appreciated.

This patch only addressed server issues.
So no it would not have screwed your mouse up.
    Disable Transparency in your vista.

Control Panel\Personalization/Window Color and Appearance disable transparency try that, might be just lack of high grade memory.

You do some other stuff too but see if this works.

It is tipical of patches to fix something and bug something else that was working perfectly before... we have seen it before.

Being said that, did you try uninstalling the patch to see if you go back to having no problemsat all?

all game devs seem to forget to test their own patches as of late so we're not going to just blame GRIN or UBI for this (they are very much the one to blame though!) if you want to give the game a chance so this is what I do in this situations:

I either roll back to the previous, hence, my first suggestion, or I unistall the driver/firmaware giving me problems after the fact and install a fresh copy of it to see if that solves the issue. I go to the main menu option of the game and I set everything back to the Default, I get out of the game, go back in and start to bind my keys how I like them and should be.

If this, still, does not work, I come here and start giving GRIn and UBI a piece of my mind

I had the same after the patch, but I closed the game & turned off some background apps that were running & then the game ran fine.

thanks for the reply, I have a vista profile just set up for games, nothing cpu or memory intensive running in the background. AV and defender turned of,

dual 2.2mhz cpu, before the patch the game ran blisteringly fast as does all games on this machine.

I think mine might have been just a small util that I have to open & close my DVD tray.

I had the same once with RVS, it got laggy because of a small app that was open, it was just a systray icon to start my TV card.
