Personally I think this is a very bad move. Giving people twice as many slots only means there will be twice the crap. There are WAY too many people that think they have to fill these slots just cause they have em. I preferred giving proven editors more slots, though there were many editors who deserved more and didnt get em.

how exactly does it affect anyone if a bunch of 10 year olds or unimaginative 30 year olds publish lame maps? unless you randomly download maps off the recently published list hoping for something decent it really changes nothing for anyone in a negative way.

theres ways to easily separate the wheat from the chaff when searching for maps.

its not like "twice the crap" slows down the server, or the game play so what exactly is the problem?

i think its great cus hosts arent limited to a 10 map rotation, mappers dont have to decide which map has to get the axe in order to make room for something new (as quickly) and it saves UBI the headache of having to decide who "deserves" more slots and having to deal with the constant B****ing and crying about who thinks they deserve them and why didnt i get them wah wah wah....

great move in my opinion

there are so many minimalist maps, that even of you double their number it would probably not change much things. it's already pure luck to randomly find a good map.

This is great. but it begs the question of why you guys wait until your entire community is spewing bile and hate at you before you either do something let alone give a response to your thoughts on a matter?

That would really go a long way in keeping the community that has stuck around for the better part of 6 years from splintering and dropping the games all together.

This is not *****ing, this is just a common sense question that should in all honesty never have to be asked.

So we get people who say things like stop whining to people who are pasisionately trying to get something that they feel they deserve, and are fighting for it. People who already "HAVE THEIRS", who think its ok to just make people feel like crap for fighting for what they want. Thats whats wrong with our world. No one is willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in and feel that they deserve. And when peopel do choose to fight, they get talked down to and persecuted, when there is nothing wrong with standing up for what u want and not settling for crap.
I commend these people on here that have been persistent, hoping that one day they will "GET THEIRS".
