Hi this is my first post,
I am at the point where the prince pushes the Emperess in the time portal. I am stuck in that room and nothing i ve tried works. I went to previous saved games and nothing. I tried saving there, or just drinking water at the fountains but still nothing! I am so pissed off!!! Also i only got one life upgrade so far! I am towards the end i think! Should i restart? Are there chances to get upgrades b4 the end? Oh man thats really buggy game!

The fact that the portal is not working is a glitch. You did exactly what is told to do if you have this glitch (reload a previous savegame). Still there is not an official solution that is working for everyone.
About missing the savepoints. From where you are now it is not possible to go back to all life upgrades. There are 3 upgrades you cannot reach before this point. You can restart your game before becoming the sandwraith. At that point it is possible to backtrack the missed upgrades.
I should advice not to completely restart the game, but start where I told, and hopefully the final portal is working afterwards...

all upgrades cept what is commonly known as number 7 the one in the mechanical tower the bridge will be up or the dude just wont throw his lil doggies
