    Ah yes .. the lightning...ive heard of that.
    Real good story. Much better than classics like the popular food poisoning explanation

    Im in love with the american national goalkeeper Hope Solo. (Star Wars fans as parents ?)

    Her pretty blue eyes spotted and thwarted any attempted communist intrusion of her goal.

    Who said that women football isnt interesting ?
    Is it just me or does her hair color change quite often ?

    @ UssSpikefish

    You're living near a factory or depot ?

    Some nice photos of the research solar power plant Jülich of the german aerospace agency DLR.

    The tower reminds me a bit of a certain building in the Command & Conquer series. Anyone knows which one im talking about ?

    Its a prototype for a series of such plants which are supposed to be build in northern Africa to cover 15% of entire Europe's energy demand with renewable energy beginning in 2020.

    The DLR also owns a slighty different experiemental plant in Almeria, Spain which does research into solar energy for more than 30 years now.

    It combines electricity production by solar panels with heat mirrors which focus the heat of sun rays to heat water in pipes whichs steam in turn powers generators

    Taken by Celeon's dad. That fox (a she) comes everyday to his workplace since several years now to get herself some tasty sausages. She also brings some to her baby foxes.

    @celeon

    Nope. This is at the local Army base. Those Bradleys were just signed for by my old Guard unit and I went up there with my buddy (who is still in and runs the armory here in town) to check them out.

    Secretly I purchased them all for myself.

    Awesome pictures of the Shuttle....

    Unfortunately, it's come to its end. Last shuttle launch coming up on Friday, I believe...
