I am in a room where after going down a pole and after a couple of jumps now i am in a room the first one i have come across where there are this monsters i keep killing em but they seem to always come alive or reappear dont seem to be able to kill em for G. man how did you guys get past this...

after you have the dagger of time you have to kill the sand creatures by stabbing them with it when they are on the ground (or freezing them and killing them). Every creature you stab with the dagger gives you some sand that powers your dagger
