Thread: One Amp and 2 songs | Forums

  1. #1
I purchased this game expecting 50 songs to play along with, multiple amps and guitar effects. It has one basic guitar, one basic amp and no effects. It appears I have to play a hundred hours of games to unlock the things I spent $79 to get. What a ripoff.

They are unlocked as you play the events. Or you buy the DLC to unlock them (except rare ones).

Ummmmmmm.....playing through the songs/events you need to unlock the effects is actually fun, you should try it. Also, as Pancho said, all the songs are available from the get go.

All the Songs are playable from the start (except the rare hiding 5). By Qualifying the Song you unlock that sound and the pedals that go with it. I don't think is says anywhere that all pedals and effects are available and unlocked. This a game not a music software, Games have unlock able content. But for people like you that don't want to work at unlocking aspect of the Game the offer a Bypass, its a a DLC pack that open all the effects up.

Only problem with that is you'll have no idea which tone goes with which song. I only have 9 and I'm already confused.

Also if I hear a tone I like, that makes me level up the song to get it. Otherwise I'd just qualify for the event and move on.

It tells you at the beginning of each song (at least in performance mode, not sure about rehearsal.) There's a little popup that says what the tone being used is and the button associated with it. So if you are using the default tone, that's how you know which one it is.
