there is constant flickering for me but right now the larger issue is objects that are behind things are displayed as if they were meant to be in front with transparency oddness thrown in for good measure, like a bizarre reverse-order rendering mode
screengrab from a battle (adventure map is similarly obscured)

...and one from the first cutscene

no amount of settings changes have fixed it and it remains the same windowed or not

I have the flickering as well, but not constantly...

Going to windowed mode and back to fullscreen might work, but it's not a fix for the issue, only a workaround ;-)

It looks to me like your graphics card doesn't sort the faces correctly (the mountains seem to got a wrong z-value in the pictures). You should post your graphics card and driver version to help the devs sort it out, as this could be a shader that just doesn't play well with your card/driver.

I am having this exact issue. Here is a screen of my own experience in the beginning or the campaign: http://cloud.steampowered.com/...7F7B9D485A2B7660918/

As mentioned above, my system specs are:
    5970 Radeon, latest drivers (11.6)
    Windows 7 64
    12 gigs RAM
    i7 x980

doing windowed mode fixed it completely.

I changed to window mode, flickering stopped... then changed back to fullscreen and its fine now. Try that. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

didn't work here my eyes are still bleeding with the continuous blinking texture

    Same problem here.

Screen flickers in both windowed/fullscreen modes. I have tryed with all graphic settings, without any effect.

GPU: Ati Radeon 5670 (Catalist 10.9), WinXP SP3

Yep, I'm having the exact same problem, including everything being off a bit. Even on the menus I have to click below the button. It's like half of the stuff in the game move down while the other half stayed in its normal position. It's weird.

    System specs:
ATI Radeon HD 5670 (lastest drivers)
    AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core
    3 gb of ram
    Windows 7 64

I just rebooted on an windows 7-64 partition and installed heroes beta there ....flickering gone !

    so conclusion :
    Graphic card : gf9800GT
    OS: XP sp 3 , drivers up2date : flickers
OS: 7-64 , no graphic update : noflickers

I'll try to update on w7-64 see if flickers come back (in which case it is the drivers , otherwise it is a compatibility problem of the game with XP)

EDIT : also no flickers with latest drivers.
It seems that the flickering textures is bug related to win xp sp3...
I stop testing , hope this info can help a dev guy solve the problem.
