Can anybody point me to some of the most important and cool stuff on the boards? I've been looking around a *little* and... there's a TON of posts on here! So if anybody can help me know what people like to talk about here and stuff like that, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Oh boy, I guess this forum can be a bit intimidating... but we're not THAT scary, I promise!
The threads in this forum tend to vary on theme, but the main ones go as followed:

games (i.e. Word Association Game (or WAG), The Question Game, The Picture Association Game): these are very simple and a good way to get active in some sort of way

gossip/discussion (i.e. The Real Life Zone, The Curiosity Age, various holiday greetings): in here, it is just chatting about various things, such as someone moving to an museum exhibit of some stinky flower. Definitely colorful: never boring

story writing (i.e. Age and Country Hotel, The Anime Club, Giza Engineering): these threads are open to everyone, but be forewarned: you may have to read up in the last prior few pages before joining to get an idea of what is going on... these are a bitcomplex to join, but we love new people who love to be creative and just help write the overall story of the given thread (which is associated with the title of the thread: there are no main plotlines other than just having fun)[/list]

Of course, I may be missing a few generic thread themes, but those three listed above are the main ones.

As for important things to look at, DEFINITELY read the Forum Guidelines and Forum FAQ (both links are at the top of the forum, just under the Uru banner): those give out the general outline for this forum in terms of rules and how the moderators (aka me )will be 'laying down the law'. For example, it will define spamming, trolling, and other stupid behaviors that aren't called for.

Other than that, be yourself and have fun. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask via Private Message (if it's a sensitive topic) or by posting a new thread in the forum. Everyone in here can be helpful, and they are friendly.

Nice to see you in here! Hope to see you post again soon!

    Greetings fellow newbie,

As far as games, there are also the ABC Game, End word=Beginning word, and Do Not Tell Lies threads. Please do check all the game threads out. I think their lots of fun and am a bit disappointed that they haven't been more active lately.

And it probably wouldn't hurt to say "Hi!" on the welcome or NAGL threads that are pinned to the top of the list.

    Read ya around.

    Umm, sorry about that.

I'm sure I could read between the lines,
if only the lines themselves were a little clearer...

Well, post in them in order to make them active! Sorry if this place isn't hopping all of the time...

Welcome to the Wa7cher. As for the other sections of this particular forum, I think the spoilers section is pretty active.

At the time, that would have required double posting, but things have picked up now.
