I finished the first scenario in campaign one, and just as I reached the end of the first week of the second campaign.. my laptop just shut off. It is running off AC power so it's not a battery issue. It doesn't seem to be running hot. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks.

Yea, I thought I was going mad, My laptop did exactly the same!!

It then took 20 minutes to restart

Its too coincidental that both of us have had the same problem. Cmon Ubisoft what have you done to our machines!!

if ur all on laptops theyre probably overheating. hardly any laptops are really designed for gaming, except some really high end ones like say Alienware. you can try buying laptop coolers maybe.

This game reboots my PC and clears my CMOS. No other game does this to me. If it's because of overheating, then what about HMM 5 is causing more heat than any other software running on my machine?? Wouldn't it make more sense for FEAR or Half-Life 2 to overheat my machine?

Well the game is kinda heavy burden for the graphic card, so it could be that the note book get to the groud due to the requirements. No wounder that you need some hourse power for that game. Do you run Far Cry on your laptops?

I have the same problem. Has anybody any idea how solve this problem? I tried do sth with game, but it's not a right way. Is it possible that next patch will be able to eliminate this problem?
