Hey,
Just got the game and first impressions are that it is amazing and I am sure most people agree. Just wanted to ask has anyone got any tips for the second person to person reaction time shoot out you do. I always have my hand close to my gun, move it all the way when i hear the bell then pull the RT. However, he always seems to shoot me first. VERY FUSTRATING!!!
Hope you can help...

Halotope, Try to keep him centered in front of you, which means walking the opposite way of him. He is faster then the first guy, so listen for the bell, and watch his arm movements.
A good strategy is to time your shot according to the background music, so try to pay attention to that as well. Other then that, just keep your hand as close to your gun as
possible without actually reaching for it and Once you hear the bell go for it. Make sure you shoot as soon as the target turns red since it only takes one shot to take him out.

Also, aim to pull the trigger as soon as its over a part of his body... i.e. his erm... Nether Regions / Lower Parts

Well after struggling with duels on Very Hard, I think I have my technique down as well as I can. Previously I was making the mistake of looking at the enemy, causing me to not notice exactly where my gun hand was. It's actually more important to know the exact location of your gun hand than that of the enemy. First one I tested this technique on was Devlin's bodyguard, whom moves a lot and is fairly fast on the draw. It worked well the first time I tried it after two attempts using my old method. Your peripheral view will suffice plenty for keeping an eye on the enemy. He only has to be centered roughly between you and the right edge of the screen, left if southpaw.
I am now pulling off duels even with music off and not using any attempted anticipation tricks, though I DO set mouse sensitivity to max. Get your hand down at the height of and within a couple inches of your gun handle. Keep looking at your gun hand as it will stray away even if not moving. Keep your mouse to the right side of the pad when pulling your hand back toward the gun and continually lift it back to the right edge of the pad for each following adjustment. This will keep your mouse somewhat centered vs to the left of the pad after the last adjustment so as to be ready for that final sweep to the gun when you need room to the left to do so. Keep your eye mainly on your hand and notice the general direction and location of the enemy to strafe accordingly.
Try to strafe AS SOON as the enemy starts strafing so you'll have him somewhat centered and be standing still just before he stops, ESPECIALLY on his 3rd or 4th strafe. I find it's better to be close vs perfect on centering the enemy to make sure you're completely still before attempting a draw. In this way you'll always be able to draw and draw quickly when the bell does ring. Even with mouse on max though you need to very quickly pull your mouse toward the gun. The quicker you do that the quicker he'll draw and raise the crosshairs. This look-at-the-gun-hand technique had Devlin's bodyguard looking more like a sister than a brother, and it left me feeling more confident.
