Hi all, First time poster,long time reader of the forums.

I must admit some of the ideas are quite elaborate, but very exciting non the less!

One thing that is confusing me is the massive cloud right at the end of the trailer which is known as a pyroclastic flow.

These are (as far as my minor knowledge of volcano's goes)pieces of rock broken by the heat of a volcano and pushed out in a cloud like fashion. But this is not created by earthquakes?

Im not dispelling that it is going to be an earthquake, but that other factors may be involved?

Any ideas?

Just because it's a cloud of dust and rock doesn't mean it's a pyroclastic flow, it's most likely the dust and rubble from a building colapsing.

If it was the earthquake then it wouldn't move as violently as it did in the preview. Pyroclasts move incredibly fast but as Ronbotic said, building debree is alot more likely. If it was a pyroclast his lungs would be fried in seconds and he's be statue before it settles and, in my opinion, that doesn't sound like a very epic game experience to me.

I think it was just the results of a building collapsing rather then a pyroclastic flow.
