Thread: Neutral ships should use running lights at night | Forums

Neutral and non-combatants should be using running/navigational lights. They technically become open to attack by combatants if they run dark at night. A oceanliner or a hospital ship with no lights can be legally seen as a troop-transport attempting to evade detection.
In game there should be no renowen lost for sinking neutral and non-combatants running dark at night.

Well as far as light go that is most true, but let's also fix the sub bases too. At night what we should see are dark harbors (lights out to protect against bombers using them to plot their courses by) and we should at times see search lights scanning the skys.

I would agree that there should be a lights out order for cities and military facilities in Europe.

As a british Captain, first I would install some lights on my freighter .
