not even close.
the MP7 was about sraying with a 40 round magazine and effective auto-aim. And it still is. It's probably still the best overall gun in the game.
the G36c is about burst shot, and scoped sniping with no auto-aim. i.e using a gun the way it was meant to be used.
i hardly consider the G36 to be the best gun. you can lose easilly to super SMGs at close range CQB. but it suits my play style.
before the patch, i was "forced" to submit to the MP7 by changing my play style to adapt to its "spray and pray" style.
the G36c is a great gun for those who don't necessarilly want to run-n-gun it (like myself). although you can still do so with it.
