It appears that everyone's suspicions are correct. All three websites (SC, R6, & GR) have news reports of war time and terrorist activities in them. If you also notice each news report is tailored to represent each series, but are flip-flopped on each other's respective sites showing how the stories are crossing together. It seems the backer with deep pockets in R6, the revolutionaries in Mexico and Europe, and terrorist plots in strategic American interests are all linked to each series' respective story lines. Something tells me that the next title of each series will converge together in conveying information of this 'war' as all three seem to be sharing a part of the overall plot.
