I am a great lover of historical (particularly Renaissance and medieval) music, so I wondered if anyone could help me identify the tune played at various parties throughout the Carnevale in ACII. I have already identified one of the pieces played by the flute players on the streets (also in the multiplayer of Brotherhood quite frequently) as a medieval piece called Saltarello. The piece I am looking for, however, is played most recognisably at the Doge's party and also at the party in the square (the one where the Carnevale competitions run from). Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I am on another playthrough of ACII and I'm about to go to Venice, unfortunatly I won't know even when I hear it. Though I would like to know as well.

There's a lute album on iTunes by Paul O'Dette titled "Lute Music Vol. 2: Early Italian Renaissance Lute Music". Saltarello is on it, perhaps you can find what you are looking for there.
