Can't move around in boat | Forums

Hi everyone. I'm new to this game and haven't had the chance to do much yet but, I have looked at a few youtube videos of in game play and notice that you can move forward, backward etc... in the boat. I cannot! I use a trackball mouse could this be the issue? The ball on the mouse looks around. Is there a keyboard "move forward" etc command?

Hi and welcome.

You might be getting SH3 and SH5 muddled up. I believe you can freely move about in SH5 but as I haven't played it I don't know. In SH3 you can only jump between the various stations: control room, bridge, hydrophones etc. In game hit F1 and a menu including stations will appear. Hope this helps.

its Ctrl and F2 or F3 then you can move in the control room

They give you the missing 3D compartments and crew in SH3.

Oops, my bad! I had no idea such a mod for SH3 existed. Been out of the loop for a while.

@ Mittelwaechter: Thanks for the welcome back. Had some RL problems and my computer managed to fry itself which is why I've been AWOL. Good to see you to and I haven't forgotten the images either.
