Hmmmm, video games will never be even thought of as an olympic sport. I think that WCG is the olympics of video games as it is.

Curling. Boring. watching people try to melt ice with brooms is not my idea of a sport.

I will say that I don't think that gaming is physical enough to be considered as sport. On the other hand though, I do believe people who play games in tournaments and such can be considered athletes.

I enjoyed listening as usual. Hearing Jinx make up words and ideas is always entertaining.

    eSports Ambassador:

Johnathan is using his growing fame and reputation to promote eSports and the concept of professional eSports competitions. His numerous media appearances, including print, TV and radio, have helped change the image of the video gamer into one of a well rounded, well spoken and dedicated professional. Fatal1ty will continue his efforts to raise the awareness of eSports as a true sport for the benefit of millions of gamers across the globe.

John "Fat" Wendal has been onto this years now, not as an olympic sport but as a sport full stop...

It should be a known sport as it takes a hell of a lot of practice and dedecation to become professional.

I hope oneday it will be a known sport, but, that day may never come so we just keep on wishing untill we can represent our countries in a Quake 4 tornament that will be screened on teh BBC

about the fan base i think it could be formed for watching on tv, here in Korea where i live (i'm canadian) they have a channels on Korean cable that is just watching people play games. channel 45 in case anyones wondering :P

most often i see them playing starcraft (oh my god, koreans play starcraft? never!)

hahah anyways, ya it could be formed but i don't think it should be added

Also i think it would be a winter game nto a summer game

Video games in the Olympics? Hell. No. Not now, not ever. Organizations like MLG can barely control the out of control brats over there - how do you think they would look on the world's stage? Gamers would be a laughing stock.

*yes I know south Korea has two video game channels, but thats S.Korea and they're weird
