hey
played a game last night which in over 200 games i havent seen this yet.
Im really not one to call cheater, but this is not just looking like a bug and wanted to ask you all what you thought before i mentioned it in the bug list..
Playing like usual 4 player Empire, on Bladland Ridge. Game starts 3 of us get generals straight away. My opponent, got theo the tactition. I have 10 men so its 5 mins into the game and go to get sector 3-
I look over 3 sectors up, no stronghold. 2 generals, phillip and theo BUT THE NORMAL guy you start with is gone.
How do you get a general plus beat others to it, without a stronghold?
How do you get 2 generals without an upgraded stronghold?
Even if the pic for the standard guy was changed to phillips, I checked and he had been bought, along with theo my guy and 1 from the other side of map. Within 5 mins of the game, the other 2 players had 1 VP each so far..
In the 1 screenie I got you see 2 prestige objects, which would have been to get the buildings- there was a tradehouse built.
Watch out for it, dunno how i got out of that one..
I looked 100 times as i didnt give em a second to move after i saw that, believe me there wast another one, the spot there is where its starts.
And later when sectors surrounding the main were gone he managed to get moving a tiny bit and I saw that the other general (guy you start with) wasnt even there..

Thanks for posting image of my castle to forum :P A hint: buildings can also be destroyed

you dont need to get a stronghold to hire a second general, an export office enables the hire of a second general. delete your free general to hire 2 better generals..

Spending 20 coins for 2 generals in early stages of a game is a highly risky thing to do. Most of such games I lost at end. It was an experiment I pulled of, but it does not work well in reality. You throw away 10 soldiers by buying one more non-standard general; in early stages thats a lot of coins. I lost this game and many other similar games aswell.
