PF standalone crashes, V4.04 (and all other versions) | Forums

I have experienced PF crashes and minimizing to desktop every time I run the sim no matter what screen resolution or detail level I have run. I am running V4.04 and have performed the P4_core.dll copy as specifed. System config is as follows:
P4 2.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM, Nvidia 5500FX AGP with 256 MB RAM.

I have found that deleting all startup services I was able to solve this problem. I then only enabled those programs I know I need. I was able to do this by selecting RUN and using "msconfig". By selecting the 'Startup" tab I was able to enable start up programs selectively.
