Any chance of playable British Subs in SH5? | Forums

Sorry if this has been discussed already just wanted to throw this one out there. Not sure if ubi have mentioned anything as i've just found out they are making this game tonight.

For sure a UK sub campaign would be difficult as they on the whole did'nt seem to be as advanced as the german uboats but i'm sure it would be a challenge that many people would be willing to accept. :-)

Personally think it would add another unique aspect to the game as it has'nt been done in the previous SH games. If it is too late to put it into the final version, surely this could be a good idea for an add-on after release.

That would be great. I would love to see this. UK really has a proud submarine history all its own, I think we are still the only nation to have scored a combat torpedo hit with a modern submarine too.

Why would you think that UK sub campaign will be available in the game? The developers not said even a word about it. I assuming there will be only one campaign, German.

the British T class was listed as the Military Channel's number 4 top submarine right after number 3 Gato and number 1 Type VII. It had an important role in cutting Rommel's supply lines to N. Africa. It would be a shame if that is not included in this simulation of the ATO.
