Improvements/ Corrections that could be made in POPT2T **SPOILERS** | Forums

No doubt POPT2T is a great game but it has flaws.Im writing in points to make myself clear and let you understand what im saying and then u tell me what was the reason for that:

1) Remembered that place where Kaileena gets killed.It was called the palace and there was a THRONE there. and when you get the sands infection you get view of babylon(possibly you are at a high place). OKay so I put it straight forward. Isn't it "Tower of Babylon?" I mean the TOB is the greatest building in persia and judging by the throne(and the height of the building) that was Tower Of Babylon.
Why then he goes running to the tower of babylon and when he reaches there they use the word palace????

How many palaces were there in persia?!

2) The "voice prince" wasn't the prince's deadliest enemy was he? He would've been deadliest had he been given the DARK sand-corrupted form of the prince. Hence he would've been able to rule a land. Hence two thrones.
The prince said himself (when he was corrupted, to farah) " The change is physical, the heart and soul are my own" It meant that the dark form was under the prince's own control so it was no danger to the prince.

3) Why did the dark-sand-corrupted form appeared in the prince's mind even when the sands corruption were removed from him?

4) Would'nt it not have been better had they merged the Voice prince and the dark prince to form a REAL DEADLY ENEMY? Who would take total control of the prince and limiting LP to a voice inside the mind (just like the voice of the dp we hear in the prince's mind) when he was in possesion of the body?
We could;ve had a REAL boss fight right after the vizier not a mental fight. Just read on:
Kaileena removes the daggertail from the prince, hence the dark prince gets separate from the prince. He already has his body so he starts fighting the prince to claim his throne.

I know i sound too confusing and most ppl will damn me for writing such a confusing topic but this is what really buzzing in my mind making me don't like POPT2T as much as i liked the previous 2. Hope somebody clears this up.

1) I don't expect a regal king to climb 250 stories just to reach his throne. I expect the throne Room was NEAR the TOB, but not at the top per se.
2) Yeah, I no, wtf. In reallity, the DP is only in the Prince's head. Dp only exists if the Prince wants him to. Hence how DP asplodes when the Prince ignores him.
3) Once again, the Sands only gave the DP a Physical form and a real voice. Before it was just an, [impulse, if you will, that the Prince followed. And I quote; "Did you think that by killing the Vizier I would simply [I]disappear? Even with the Sands gone, I have the strength to remain."
Second quote; "Prince: You are just a desperate, selfish spririt." "DP: If I am selfish, Prince, it is because you are. If I am ruthless, reckless and lacking in morales, it is because you are. I did not spin myself from the ether, I was not conjured by some, man Vizier. I am you!
4) The Daggertail only served as an extension cord for the Sands to travel on. Breaking the Daggertail stopped the Prince from being completely transformed. The DP already existed. Regaining the SOT prince parts of himself, with Kaileena's support and the Dahaka dead, the Dp had to actively coax the prince. Tho a fight with DP would be WICKED.
BTW: OMFG, I was JUST about to create this thread!

okay i've accepted your 1st reason. Well yeah its like in Lotr where Theoden lives in edoras(whatever the spelling) and went to Helm's Deep to attack.
May be TOB was used likely.

3) The sands gave DP a physical form? NAH! They just gave the prince a dark form (not DP) and gave him madness a voice. That's it.


But don't ppl agree with me that we should've had a DP with his BODY and HIS SOUL? I mean The prince is the prince when he is normal. When emotions strike him, the Dark prince take control of him (the physical form+voice). But they showed the dark form of the prince in complete LP's control.

That was bugging me for so long.

er well...
firstly the tower of babalon is a land mark,not a palace,like big ben,or the eiffel tower.But big ben isnt buchingham (sp?) palace is it

secondly plot hole?lol


thirdly the dark prince uses that form as a sort of "imtimidate" thing,like sorta showing him,although you thought it was over,it isnt thing.The DP NEVER had a physical form,he only existed in the princes mind HENCE THE MENTAL REALM!

lastly dont you think they already thought of that?Yes even correy may himself wanted the DP to be a boss fight,but the whole point is that the prince has learnt not to solve all his problems by "SWINGING HIS SWORD" so they couldnt really make him have a sword fight could they?(well they could have made it so that the prince got the impression "its ok to fight for peace",but hey im not a script writter)

im glad t2t didnt have paradoxes because its already confusing enough!

There are only two things that really bothered me and that's the stupid censurating of all the european copies of TTT just because one country wanted a censur (maybe Germany as the country is known for it's strict censur)

And that irretating and all to noticable Farah- ponytail ****ch that bothers me becuse she is my second favorite POP character.

If just these two things were fixed, then I would be totally satisfied as I had no problem with the dark prince only being a voice in the prince's head as he did have some influence and power over his good side despite just being a voice.


A longer game would have been great and I'd also like more Farah involvement,no voices that abruptly stops, some subtitles and finally some more cinematic scenes and a longer ending.
