Thread: help, buzz saw on walls after crow king | Forums

  1. #1
I just killed the crow king and make it through the next room and am at the part where there is a gap in the floor and there are buzz saws on the two walls. Every time I try to wall run across the gap, the saws get me. Is there some trick to this?

Yeah, it's called "don't run into the saws, dummie."

    Watch for timing.

Hey, ignore the immaturity found in the post above mine. Puberty is probably getting the best of 'em.

To answer your question, are you talking about one of the areas towards the beginning of the game? If not, use the L1 button to slow time. That's an easy way. If you don't have that ability yet, try starting your wall run right before the saw begins coming down.

    Peace!

You may call it immaturity, if you wish.

I however, believe that if your sense of humor is developed enough, you should be able to see that it is a light-hearted joke. And of course, immediately afterwards, I posted the information he required. You'll notice that the worst langauge I used was "dummie". In other words, I've complied with the rules of this forum, something that most people would forget to do.

As for you, you accused someone of going through puberty.

    Oh, ha ha.

You know, it's funny too. You see, my response is a general one that can help ohmster throughout the game, whereas yours specically applies to one console version of the game. If ohmster is playing it on PC, then he probably doesn't have an "L1" button. Not only that, but I haven't had any need to slow time to get beyond any of the saw-type of traps.

It's obvious he needs to get timing down first, otherwise slowing down time will just become a crutch. But then again, I don't take games that seriously, as can be seen from my joke, which you didn't get.

    Grow up.

...I suppose it would, if I had neglected to include that last sentence.

What can be taken seriously, is calling someone else immature and claiming that they're going through puberty, when in all possible fact, they are likely older than yourself.

Calling someone a "dummie" is light-hearted.
Saying someone is going through puberty is an attack.

Oh, and don't let my responses fool you, I don't really care what you post, and likely, you don't care what I post. But I'm not exactly going to let someone call me juvenile without a response. I doubt you would either, based on your own responses.

I would suggest that we end this, or if you wish, you can get in your last words. I don't like it when unnecessary stuff is posted, and I don't want a thread where someone needs help to be closed because I'm being an idiot.

Oh I wasn't offended or anything, I am playing the PC version of the game. I was a bit paranoid at that point because I had been trying to beat the crow king like, forever, and finally beat him and wanted desperately to reach a save point so I was afraid of dying and losing my win against the crow king. I did not have any time manipulation stuff yet.

I just ran across the wall and made it. The saw was not going at the time, but when I went back in time for the first time and got the rewind power, THEN the saws started moving. Since I wa so close to my save point, it was no big deal to try them out. I was able to time it right and got past them. I died on purpose anyway to test out the rewind power, and I must say, that really rocks.

Hey thanks for the help fellows, I appreciate it.
