Thread: Character Movement and Style | Forums

It may just be me but in all the SP Conviction vids I have been watching it seems as if Sam Fisher, Archer and Kestrel move, run and have the same moves. It is probably just me but I thought it would be cool to have a different feel when controlling the different characters. If anyone can say that they move in exactly the same way/same moves etc or if they don't then please post. =)

But what if i really want to post!

Honestly I don't really mind, But it are the small things that make difference ofcourse. But the game is getting nearer and nearer to the launch. and it's ok to give a oppinion how you feel about the things in conviction. But it isn't going to make a difference now.

Ubi need to sort out their character animations. They all look awful.

I'm one of the people who actually thinks the game looks very good, and if they sort out the animations, then I would be happy.

~FISHER- Lambert, now that I got 50 million bucks with me, it's time to talk about a raise.
~LAMBERT- Hmmm. 25 cents an hour and not a penny more.
    ~FISHER- Deal.

I'm also very looking forward to the game and will for sure be buying it, I just wanted to see if they added detailed things such as the character movement.

    Same here.

About the character movements and animations: Sam, and the coop spys are gonna have the same movement style I think, but in one of the interviews with Ubisoft they stated that Sam's gonna have some special movement (I mean like the way he makes close combat movements) as so do Archer and Kestrel which is not a bad thing at all. I guess that answers your question and finishes the topic.

bring back sam's closing movement in SCCT when as he gets closer to an enemy, his body language changes to show how stealthy he trying to be

I prefer the personality keen on the conversation and investigation.

Unlike Devil May Cry and Bayonetta,
real-life combatants will not do too many extra fancy moves.....

For example, when Sam Fisher switch off the light or the electric system of a whole building, Sam Fisher muttered "Darkness!"

    Other agents would mutter......:
    "Time to go to bed!"
    "Party time!"
"Hope they don't get too excited..."
"Someone has to switch that off for energy saving...Hah! who am I kidding?"

I agree too, that was amazing stuff and really added to the immersion. You could just tell Sam was aware of the people around him and the way his body worked.
