We just noticed an issue for players who played the VIP Beta when installing the Public Beta version, resulting in a very low resolution.


A patch is on its way but until there you can fix the issue by deleting the following folder manually:

- For Windows XP users : C:\Documents and Settings\%WindowsUserID%\Application Data\Ubisoft\RUSE
- For Windows Vista and Windows 7 users : C:\Users\%WindowsUserID%\SavedGames\Ubisoft\RUSE

Please replace %WindowsUserID% by the name of your Windows session/account

And I didn't know we could play the beta already?

i was a VIP betatester... but today my preloaded public beta has been deleted from "My Games".... O.O...

it was there since yesterday -.-

Somebody else told me this happened to them, not sure why. Guess you'll have to re-download it?

I never uninstalled or deleted my old beta files, I hope that doesn't cause an issue....

Just to be sure I'm deleting the ruse folder and re-pre-loading! It'll only take 20 mins with my connection.

@STRONTJESBERG : Have you changed "%WindowsUserID%" with your Windows session/account?

You might have to make your computer show hidden files and folders.

For players who don't find the game from "My Games", yuo just need to go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/33310/ and click on "Install Game".

It won't reinstall the game, but it will solve the issue.

nope.. i can't play...

i don't do anything.. i've downloaded it twice now.... and it doesn't work
