Has there ever been any type of official detailed hosting/playing broadband speed requirements released by Ubisoft for Vegas on the xbox 360?
Games online are so laggy and i dont experience this with Call Of Duty 4, even in much larger capacity rooms.
I have a 20mb download and 700kb upload, yet cant host anymore than 8 players, and experience a degree of lag in just about any game i play online.
If anyone has such details please post.

I can officially tell you that a 850-950kb upload will be an all around better gaming experience.

I used to host with 10mb all the time and i had perfect 12 player rooms without silly host ad or lag my 14 player rooms wer fine to but then i was starting to get a bit advantage now i have upgraded to 20mb which seems to be what most ppl hav these days so hosting on V2 should be fine especially if ppl with lower mb connections host 8 or 10 player rooms everyone should be happy, but i read somewhere on these forums that they had made the hosting better like COD4 did so they shouldnt be any problems at all.

I have crappy Idaho internet: 1.7 meg down and 700k up and i host 14 player rooms. Noone ever complains about lag.

since the recent patch on cod4 giving host migration, the servers are awful if you are european due to the fact the server always goes to an american player making them pretty much bullet proof.
as for your 20meg connection is this virgin? as i had this and at peak times i got as little as 0.7 of a meg (no joke) this company practice something called "traffic control" which means during peak hours (approx 4-11 pm) they drop your speeds to make it "fair" for people who have lower d/load speeds. they wont tell you this unless you really press them and of course you get no money off, do a speed test on http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/ and see for your self. i have now changed to sky hope that helps.

What a lot of people don't understand is that your hosting bandwidth is affected by your upload speed not your download speed. For instance here's mine:
I have a good download speed, which is fine for searching the interent and downloading files but because my upload speed is so low and most people I would get in a room live over the Atlantic ocean i have no hope in hell in hosting a fairly lag free room with over 6 players.

the virgin con does have, to be fair, a 750 apx upload speed which does not change, but as host you have to send and recieve info, that is where the low d/load speed messes things up at peak times.

Really dones't matter cuz i use a 250kb (i know its bad but its cheaper and ill get more games) and i hosted perfectly fine on vegas 1 and playing fine and was able to talk into my mic with outs without having any lag so i don't think it really is gona matter much
