How to avoid spawn camping | Forums

I don't want this to turn into a topic about weather or not it's ok to camp. Camping is just a part of the game if you like playing TSS like I do. I have played this game a lot and these are just some things that I have found to work to help avoid being camped. If anyone else has anything they would like to add to the list please feel free.

1. Use your spawn shield to it's fullest. Use the shield to give you time to run out of your spawn. Get out and flank the campers.
2. Try changing your equipement. Instead of just throwing a ton of grenades try smoke, flashbangs, tear gas, anything...
3. This one seems obvious, but I have played with people that do this. If you kill all of the campers, don't wait in your spawn for them to come back. You should always be trying to gain ground in this game.

There are certain maps where it is easier to be camped then others, like Alpha team on LVU Campus. If you get camped there, it's hard to get out. Another is Bravo team on Calypso Casino. There are certain choke points that the campers will hold. One thing to remember, especially if grenades are turned on, is not to bunch up in the choke points. It will only take one grenade to take out your entire team. Like I said, if anyone has anything they want to add to the list please do.

-If you are being pinned down by a sniper, try throwing a couple of smoke grenades to cover your exit.

-Flashbangs work well when thrown in succession by multiple people.

-Having the entire team switch to tear gas can really help on some maps

-Two guys with riot shields followed by two guys with shotguns can do some incredible damage

-C4 is awesome

run away with your shield. go in some room close all door plants c4 and blow tat **** up cause they will follow
