There are no current plans for Mac but you can probably run it in that thingy that lets you run Windows. Sorry, don't have a Mac so i forget what it's called.

I think it's called "boot camp"
My pick-up toggle switch has 3 modes: Swank, Extra Swank, and Super Swank

The chance of Ubisoft releasing a Mac version is VERY slim. They have a very poor track record of supporting the Mac. When it is released, it should run under bootcamp since the iMacs have an intel processor. I would not be surprised if it runs under Parallels too BUT since that is something of an emulation, I would expect a LAG. I too wish they would come out with a Mac version since that is my platform of choice.

I thought I read somewhere that eventually there are plans for Mac but from this forum looks like that's a no go. Bummer. I was ready to put money up front to pre-order.

Just run bootcamp on your mac. Get a old copy of xp and your all set to run the software. The dev team is small and I dont see them building a mac version, when it is just as easy to use bootcamp to run it.

I have macbook pro laptop and 99% of the time I am using xp via bootcamp.

It's still a little iffy on coming out for PC, given the fact that they've taken down PC references from Rocksmith's marketing info on the site - though on Facebook the dev team has set a new target of May of 2012 for PC release. I don't think I'd hold my breath for Mac (at least in the next year or two).

Have they mentioned any requirements for PC? I'm wondering if I would need to upgrade my system in addition to running boot camp.

They may or may not eventually come to PC like they promise. I'm waiting to see.

At least your Mac can run Windows as a dual-boot second choice in Boot Camp.

Apple won't license OS X at all for my home built PC. I really miss Garage Band.
