I have recently bought The Settlers 3 Gold and need some help. When I try to start a game the 3 helmets come up and then the game freezes. The game is v1.60 and the patch came with the game. Afther a quick lock around the forums I see that s3 have some compability issues whit xp. But on the box it says it will work on 95/98/Me/Millenium and xp. I tryed the xp patch but then it said my game was corupt.
btw my computer is better than the mini recemendation on the box.

After unzipping the XP patch into your folder did you then run the file convertor,but double clicking it?

Done and done. I replaced the old s3 file with the new (xp patch?) and ran the file convertor but it's still not working!
I don't get a error messige the game simply freeze.
