    The 1.01 patch for PC adresses a number of issues with the AMD processors. Please make sure to read the Readme file to find out if it applies to you.

    What's new


    <u>- Fixed problem with processors that do not support SSE.</u>

    The game should no longer crash when run on processors that do not support SSE. This is the case for older Athlon/Duron chips.


    <u>- Anti-aliasing support</u>

    Users with high-end video cards and 64MB of VRAM can enjoy full anti aliased graphics. To enable anti-aliasing run the "Beyond Good & Evil Settings" application, go to the "Advanced Setting" tab and move the "Anti-aliasing" slider to "On".

    WARNING: Do not force anti-aliasing on the graphic card control panel - this will may cause black screens and corrupt graphics.


    <u>- Disable shadows</u>

    You can now disable shadows in order to improve VRAM performance.


    <u>- Lower screen resolutions available</u>

    New, lower resolution options are now available.


    <u>- Improved glare effect</u>

    The glare effect has been improved on all supported video cards.


    <u>- Improved blur effect</u>

    the blur effect when underwater should now work properly.


    <u>- Improved water reflections</u>

    You can lower the level of detail to improve performance.


    <u>- Overall acceleration</u>

    Many improvements have been made to the overall performance of the game.

    Since when Ubi knows, that older CPUâ´s cannot understand SSE? Since last week? Oh yes, they are young and they need the money...



    Ancel should really better make movies.
