Thread: Character not in center screen | Forums

Does anyone know how to get the character in the center of the screen?

It's rather difficult to navigate when i have my character sitting on the left hand side of the screen and try to walk. I find it rather clumsy.

Have looked and cannot find an option. Forum talks about 1st and 3rd person.. Well i don't mind seeing the character but i'd like it centered into the middle of the screen regardless...

    So, is it possible?

The game is locked in 3rd person, the Na'vi is more toward the center (or might just be bigger so it seems that way to me) while the marine is far down to the left.

If your having trouble aiming as the Marine, you can check the aim assist box in the options, so the shots will home in on what you have the circle pointed at rather than flying off god knows where. Movement is something you just have to get used to, the character still walks forward when you tell it too and not on some obtuse diagonal, you just have to watch the minimap to make sure you don't walk off a cliff while strafing.

There is no Aim Assist checkbox that exists in the options. At least not in the PS3 version. I agree that the positioning of the character is ridiculous. I understand over the shoulder, but it isn't even that the character is nearly all the way on the left side of the screen, dumb decision.

I got used to it and i like this camera.

It's 3rd person but you still have a lot of space to look at the scenery.
