I'm just a bit interested as to what people might think Ancients are. I personally think they were a human race with a similar history to us, who ended up destroying themselves before Polokus did his... thing.

My guess is that the Ancients were chickens. There are a lot of Zombie Chickens in the Tomb of Ancients, so the Ancients must've been chickens.

I think they are the dead knarren? Just because they are invincable doesn't mean they can't be destroyed (reflux anyone?)

I always thought that the ancients were created by Polokus.

Well, in my fanfic the Ancients created the Lums, and so the Gods, but obviously that's not canon.
The Ancients are only mentioned in Rayman 2, in the Tomb of the Ancients. Acute eyes would have noticed, however, that their are dead Robo-Pirates the same as Razorberd in the graves.
