I like the game.
It's not revolutionary, but it didn't take a step backward either. -- It's an improved GRAW 1. Some have taken to calling it GRAW 1.5, but they are focused only on the multi-player because it has an all new single-player campaign.
With that said, focusing on the multi-player--
The Good:
* Spawn camping is all but eliminated.
* Great lighting and particle effects.
* Large number of maps and gameplay modes.
* Variety of weapon choices.
* Added clan support.
* Progress meter to next rank.
The Bad:
* Locale not different from GRAW 1.
* Clan support seems to be limited.
The Ugly:
* Inability to assign teams in ranked rooms.
I'm a big believer in host assigned teams in ranked rooms. It's not "stacking"-- it's a tactical shooter -- and knowing who you're playing with is a very important piece of the puzzle. If the room sucks, leave. Hang around maybe you'll get moved up to blue and make a friend or two in the process.
See you in the game.
