I know most of you are console gamers, but if you have ever needed a reason to buy a good pc, this is it! I have played 2 hrs of this game, and I am utterly speechless. This has to be the most immersive, graphically impressive, just plain kick *** FPS I have ever played. Actually, its better than ANY game I have ever played. All of you need to play this, so go buy this game now!

Half Life 2 is coming to the xbox. I think in 2005 sometime. But I would go with an xbox Vanthem79. Xbox is cheaper then a PC, and it has Halo 2. And xbox live is very very fun. Everyone has mics, and it really adds to the fun level of the game.

You couldn't have just told me to buy HL2 on X-Box. I would rather slam my hand in a car door 10 or 15 times.

If a shooter is on PC or a console, you get it for the pc if you know what's good for ya. Besides, I already own a PC and an X-box, why handicap myself with X-box graphics and a monthly membership to play online?

    Now where's my car..

EDIT: By the way, guys, the 'version' I referred to is talking about the different releases of HL2: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Collector's Edition, Standard, all for PC.

That has to be one of the worst ideas I've heard in a long time. Not only will the xbox version be dumbed down, just like the doom 3 version will be, but it will be a year old by then. Who wants to play a year old game. Its just like when Halo 1 came out for pc a year later. Plus with a computer, you have the great keyboard and mouse controls, plus better graphics and higher resolutions. There will also be so many mods created for this game, and you will only be able to get those on pc.

I couldnt agree with you more. I would take it one step further though... While slamming your hand in the door of the car, make sure its travelling at a bare minimum of 80 mph. At the top of a mountain pass. You then would need to drive the vehicle over the edge of a precipice, and while falling, begin to slam your head in the door as well... btw, buy the silver edition. It's only 50 bux and you get Half Life 1 source, which is sweet.

Tru tru. All I'm stating is that for those of you that have them or can afford them. You will want to buy this game for it.
