This thread will be deleted without a doubt. But if one person reads this i will be happy.
Over the past few years i have seen many things. From the games i loved being turned into cash grab releases. Lies and deciete has plagued this industry for long and will continue to. But i have become fed up with it. When the indi deves show more promise then the million dollar firms.
I bought from dust earlier today. I saw the result on console and was interested. i did some research and found it to be just up my ally. I hear that ubi wont lock it down since, well its on steam. Do you really need always on drm when you release your product on STEAM? As i installed it and started it up i was mad. Its true that piracy has hurt your revnue in some way. we all know you tell us is breaking you when its only a scuff on your shield. But sadly that was only the start, or the end in my case. I got my hands on the latest call of juarez, the cartel and i am shocked, to me this is a spit in the face.
"To sell to someone you must show respect and a quality product." Words my father told me when i was young. He deals in buildings, not games, but i think it rings true. I have gotten to the point where the games i see in your future dont even look enticing. They will be released bugged and 24/7 drm. so why bother? You have not only lost a customer but a future partner. I know you are only doing "business as usual" like many companies. But cant you take a page from valve? egosoft? mojong?
I will pirate the next anno. If i must i will deliver 50$ in hard cash to their front door. but i refuse to pay it to you in any form. I refuse to spend anymore releases.
Love;
Yet another fallen customer.

Just wanted to let you know I read it, and agree completely
.
"If I pay $60 to own a game, then I should be able to do what I want with it.
If I dont actually own it, then I shouldn't have to pay $60."
"Classic games were made by gamers for gamers.
Todays games are made by companies for consumers. "
