Ubisoft is currently developing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Sixâ® Vegas on "next gen" consoles and PC. The development of the fifth opus of the famous tactical-action Rainbow Six series is led by Chadi Lebbos, Senior Producer originally in charge of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3â® Raven Shield and Rainbow Sixâ® 3 Xbox, from the prestigious Ubisoft Montreal studios. One important note: the PC players will be happy to know that we are developing a seperate PC version seperate of the console versions.

So this means Ubi Montréal is also doing the PC version?
    Will be interesting...
Why is the PC forum with 'working title' when it's just Vegas like next gen's title.

Thanks for the heads up as usual.

well, didn't Kimi's article say there was something like 150 or so employees in the studio? If they do have the numbers, then a seperate team doing the PC version is quite possible.

True Dayglow, Montréal is filled with talented artists. She says 150 people are working on Vegas.

Anyways one thing is for sure that the PC version will most likely come after the next gen. versions. But hey, that's a good thing.
GRAW PC will keep me warm & fuzzy for those cold gaming nights

btw, when thinking of it, this isn't new news. We knew it was going to be a dedicated dev team working on as well it not being a port.
Guess this is just the official report.

What UBI needs is not "Hype" but candor and honest communication.

    Yeah I think so.

This sort of feels like the PS3 announcements made at GDC last week.
