After the loading screen,
the screen turns black and quits out.
It has a message asking to "report" or "do not report" box comming out.
However, I was able to play the demo in my other computers.

as i said in my thread:
I tried ALOT of stuff to get this game running.
And the thing that seemed to fix it was to download XP Service Pack 2 (dont like it but anything for homm!) Download - install - reboot and voila! it worked.
If you dont have SP 2 and all the latest updates installed try that.
so they should perhaps put SP 2 in the sys req for release?
Thanks,
I'll go try that right now.

I was having this problem due to directx running in debug mode. When I switched to run time the game workes fine. This would only occur if you are doing directx development.

Thank you, Unreal_az - yes, I have the latest directx installed. Thanks, harryjkuhar as well - I would like to try to find out if it's in a debug mode or not but how do I do it? Thank you
Do you have a dual monitor display. Or refresh rate fixed? Is your monitor recognised by windows by it's brand and device id? Like for example Samsung SyncMaster 700p ?.
