I'd like to know if there has been any word about releasing the Desert Siege expansion for Xbox... they did release Island Thunder, is there going to be a second?... it'd be awesome if they do.

They are going to have 5 of the 8 desert seige missions available off of XBOX LIVE that you can download with the IT disc.

yes there will be 5 downloadable maps via xbl, but you also have 3 of the 8 already on the xbox disc, night beach, ghost town and train depot. So you do get all of the desert siege through the island thunder disk.

no you don't because the downloads are going to be 5 missions NOT maps.

Surely you'll be able to play those MISSION maps on XBL gametypes like LMS, SAR and Siege, etc.... wont you??

If they're gonna integrate a game with XBL and let you download the map to use during mission it cant be too hard(for the dev's that is) to make it available for all gametypes.

I'm hoping anyway..

I don't know.
All I know is htey are giving us 5 DS missions and that they won't be in a campaign and they will only be accesable through the quick mission menu.

um, that makes no sense. if you read your game cover it says there will be 5 desert siege missions downloadable via xbl, well, how can you have missions without maps? so understand that there will be 5 more maps before years end. no one knows when that will be.

Yes i know about the dls but that leaves out stuff such as weapons and other features you get with an actual expansion,...
