It's quite evident that the PC version of FC2 hasn't really had much attention put towards it. By this I mean it is basically a console game made to work with a keyboard and mouse.

It's disappointing to say the least. I really don't have any gripes about singleplayer apart from the checkpoints always firing on you but multiplayer is where the 'console mentality' really shows.

Lack of a good server browser, not being able to join games that have already started and the quickmatch system all point to FC2 being a pretty bad port.

Far Cry 2 has a lot of potential but the PC version just isn't good enough, I can't even get online because for some reason punkbuster A & B won't run. But that is besides the point, the PC version really needs some patches to fix these issues and get the online community thriving.

However considering the mess the PC version of Rainbow Six: Vegas is in I doubt anything will be done.

I agree. Totally disappointing and utterly frustrating.

This game visually looks stunning but the lack of functionality causes this game to fall worlds and worlds short compared to COD4 and HL2.( among dozens of other games)

i am running on a ps3 and there are games with all the features that are lacking on far cry multiplayer for consols but like you were saying the game dose seem to be made for the console when i get a job ill go shell out what about 2 , 3k and build a computer, but i would think this game Should.. belong to the pc but in some aspects its evedent it dose not. the MP is not bad on consoles but needs improvment but if i was running on a pc i would be mad

on the cover, no it doesnt. Its not COD its Far Cry. If You Want A COD feeling game play COD if you want to play a far cry feeling game, Play Far Cry. We Arent trying to make halo into COD or COD into halo are we?

Anyone other than me remember when they announced this game as a PC exclusive back in the day? Then they got all quiet and basically shined us on.

This wont be the first game from ubi that is a console port to the pc.

BTW console ports are terrible.

Just with the non destructive environments we can see this, for pc at least they could have been more, it was just amped down for the consoles, why didn't they keep what they showed off in videos for the pc version?

because pc users have console it enables them to use cheats i think they should make a tab on the main menu for cheats or in pause or something because i would sure like to kick *** without having to reload and run out of ammo ... would be handy as well...
