While it would be something to nice to have; I can't see every WWII ship getting put in SH5. What is the point of putting Japanese ships in a sim centered around the Atlantic Theatre? A German uboat captain isn't going to get orders to go sink them. You don't even need the US ships that were only in the Pacific either for the same reason. Even if they just used all of the ships from previous installments of SH; how much more work will be needed to tweak them & finish all of the ships not already in any of the series?

I am one that strives for historical accuracy when it comes to things like this. I agree there should be more ships but I dont agree that all ships should be. Ships that never was in the atlantic should never be implimented in this game taking place in the Atlantic.

How ever I would like to go to normandy during the Invasion and see the battleship texas bombarding the shore line. I would also like to randomly experiance ships like the Texas on escort duty. I have played alot and havent one seen a cargoship convoy being escorted by battleships but in WWII it happened and Texas was the one that typically did it in the Atlantic as far as I know.

Problem arises with this is someone would complain about seeing more ships of a specific class than was built. Texas was only one of two of the new york class. Same as Bismarck was one of two of the Tripitz class.

Another thing that I would like to see implimented would be passengerships converted to hospital ships. I would also like to see some passengerships around that wasnt really around at the out break of war. For instance the Olympic was scrapped in 1935. But I wouldnt mind being able to see her being towed to be scrapped in 1938/1939 when the campagin can start at the earliest.

But in the end you have to be happy with what you get. God knows I played the orignal Ghostbuster game for NES when it came out in the mid 80`s. The game was fun but I also hated it because it just wasnt that good it was a profiler game like mario bros. It took from then till just recently to get the style of ghostbusters game I always wanted. In the end hopefully UBI can get a new silent hunter out that impliments what I would really like to see.

Oh that's something I'd love to get screenies of; the Texas running a fire support mission. Heck I'd like to get a crack at sinking it in game. Ah well, I'll guess I'll be content to wandering around below deck as she's just down the road from home.
