I have Logitech Optical Mouse and Logitech MouseWare 9.79 driver installed (Windows 2000), mouse works @ PS2 port.
I have about 50 FPS in game but mouse laggs like it is 25 fps.
I tryed many mouse settings in options but nothing make it work properly.
Is there any way to fix it?

P.S. I think i have same problem is Serious Sam and Will Rock.

Sounds more like your computer is struggling with the game than anything. I doubt it is a fault with your mouse.

I also think there is a mouse problem with this game.

I have a 3.2 Ghz P4 with 1024 Mb internal and a 9800XT Cat 4.3.

I get very good frame rates around 60 or 70 frames at 1280x1024 everything high, but sometimes and this is more inside buildings than outside the mouse seems to get slower and starts to skip or snap to a grid.

I also have a logitech mouse a MX500, i havent tried a ballmouse yet but im going too.

Also tried all the mouse settings in game, but no effect, also turned off enhanced pointer precision in Windows XP, this made the problem just worse.

Im now running out of ideas, i like the game very much but this mouse problem is really getting in the way of the playing experiance.

A small note i dont have this problem in other games.

Any ideas or solutions will be very much appreciated.

I was about to buy MX 500 I think its good mouse but MX 700 and MX 900 is same as MX 500 exept is dont have wire as i know.

It work more or less fine when acceleration and filter is disables.

I also noticed that the skipping is less with the deserd eagle than with the other guns. I know the other guns have to move slower but this doesnt mean your mouse starts skipping, hmmm strange

Going to try another few things!

Turning on Vsync helps a little bit, i also have the mouse senst. on max but the choppy feeling remains.

Does anybody have something else to try, cause i really want to play this game without getting annoyed with this choppy mouse play.

IT may or may not help , but you may try and
hit CRTL-ALT=DELETE (open up task manager) before you start your game, and the RIGHT CLICK on your mouseware (I use an intellimouse optical and it's called point32.exe; I don't know the name of logitech's )then select SET PRIORITY, and finally select and set it to ABOVE NORMAL. This helped smooth things out
for me in about 95% of all lag/choppy mouse
response areas.

Thx but im using the normal Windows mouse driver, and i dont want to install the crappy logitech mouse software.

Got the same problem. Fast computer p4 3.3Ghz running 1.2 GIG of RAM and 7200 RPM HD 120Gig.

I played the game aswell with a logitech optial usb mouse as a wireless MX mouse. But problems are still there, when I move my mouse this takes more then 40ms that it's showing on my screen. So this is very bad. I'm not playing it know. Bought it today, but already playing unreal, this is to laggy...
