I agree, if i ever get Xbox live. As an avid smoker, you can't get enough enjoyment when it comes to smoke!

Smoke grenades were tested but due to preformance issues they never made it into the game.

You could always buy "Rainbow 6" to get ya smoke!

Oh I have R63 and R63 BA and I dont like them like I like GR and GR IT and now GR 2. I just think the smoke would add a little something extra on here. There are some maps where smoke would help when you have to cross a allie or move from building to bulding trying not to be seen.

Well it wouldnt help you not be seen, setting off a smoke grenade is like having a big neon sign with flashing arrows saying "Im over here"

you know, that's something else I think might improve gameplay? Would a neon sign be hard to patch in? And as for crossing dangerous corridors, my favorite is telling my comrades "all clear" or "I got you covered", the human shield technique works great.

Hey le tigre, smoke grenades would definitely come in handy against you. We could through them by one street crossing point and then cross at a different point. Meanwhile you'd be telling all of your teammates "hey they're over here" and by then we'd be coming up behind you.

Sounds to me like we can talk about it forever. Not gonna happen, but would they be useful? Yep.
