After seeing many different opinions about respawns, health recovery etc, I want to know how things are for this community.

Now because I feel that console players and PC gamers have a different feel I only intended this poll for the PC version. Console players can make their own. Copy pasting makes it easy if you think this one is ok.

Probably I didn't tackle everything but it's a start. I just checked if I can edit but that will reset the polls, so the mistakes will stay.

To each question I added "other" so when you choose this, let us know what the "other is". Name the question and your opinion.

Now this thread is here because I'm just curious about it. There are posts saying the community is falling appart etc... Maybe it gives a better view on things? I don't know but it hurts seeing what happend to Rainbow Six. My all time favorite game (Raven Shield that is).

Before I answer, it begs the question, is this Poll only for ONLINE play or also for SP CAMPAIGN mode?

I answered it for both.

I really like the customization aspect of Vegas 2, choosing how I like my character to look. I wouldn't be caught dead in Pink Camo, but if someone else wants to use it, then why not? It just makes them more of a target


I like the third person cover mechanic at times (mostly during campaign) but it can really be pretty stupid at time... leaning your full body out to take a shot? Stupid! If the cover system returns in a new Rainbow game, I hope that it is like the suggestions AntiPersonnel has in this thread 'Improving or replacing 3rd person cover, lean, etc.'

Also, the XP system is pretty neat, but encourages people to cheat. I thought that it was a good change for Vegas 2 to just make aesthetic items unlocks for rank, making it even more true that rank doesn't equal skill... just how cool you can make your character look.

How many respawns? - 0
How should the respawns work? - They shouldn't
How do you want the health recovery? - No health recovery what so ever and You get wounded and start limping
How do you want to take cover? - Peeking around just like in Raven Shield
What is your gaming style? - Fast and slow depending on the situation, but always tactical.

Basically I want Raven Shield II on a new engine. Updated graphics and physics with old style fluid door opening and fluid movement/ posture. The XP system blows but custom character is ok I guess, still undecided with that one. Oh, and SPAWN TANGOS AT BEGINNING OF ROUND so we can use flash and frags for what they are intended.

I want Raven Shield also, but I'm afraid we'll never get it.

For that cover system from AntiPersonnel looks good. Except not automatic. We still need a button. It's also about learning to play smoothly with the controls. It may not be to easy.
