ive noticed when i start a level the game gets a little choppy...then it seems to settle down...i have a x850 xl pe pcie express video card...i figured with this card it would be smoother....i have my graphics settings on very high too....i should be getting smooth games with this video card...i have a 3.2 computer with 1024 megs of ram but its choppy at times and that fraustrates me

What do you have for a windows pagefile? Make it about 1 gig for both minimum and maximum. Make sure nothing is running in the background that hogs memory.

AI components have to load .. depending on what you are doing. Choppy as they come off
disk to ram. I now have a SATA drive that is fast as the ****ens, and that helped a lot.
Also, a while back, I discovered that IOMEGA "drivers and program" tend to do a lot
of polling all the time, and they were dragging my games down. I don't use them now
under XP.
