Thread: Save the community and get our voices Heard | Forums

  1. #1
Well i try and stay away from any negative posting as i have always tried to help the gaming community in what ever game i was playing. During RvS i made the roll back patches when 1.04 was released and not mandated for twl so users would not have to do dual installs or uninstall rvs completely from there systems. This release i tried to give as much assistance in getting the text server together (which i only had a small part in the thinking process of that). I then took it a step further and wrote a program to edit the server ini files as well as launch servers utilizing the settings in the ini files. But enough is enough. I have postponed updating my program further or further waisting my time in trying to fix a game that the developers seem to have very little interest in. I think the time is now that we as a community find ways of getting what we payed for and demanding that things be done right by the consumer. I have been researching all i can on consumer rights ect.. and all laws pertaining to the consumer and software ect.. As with anyone my time is limited due to real life and work. But i have contacted my local news via email in attempt to get our voices heard by a larger mass of people. I have yet to get a response but due to me having a read reciept on my emails i do know that 5 employees of the local news channel i contacted has read my email. I only hope that they hear our cry for help and look further into helping us out. I urge that other people do similar things to help get us heard and let the world know that consumers of ubi have been constantly shafted for quite some time now.

If you live in the Pa, De or NJ area i urge you to contact channel 10 news's investigative reports with similar emails to mine. Maybe with enough emails we will get there attention and can get someone to voice our concerns to the masses.

If you or anyone you know has any legal background get with them and find out what legal avenues we might be able to pursue if any.

I hope that more and more people will follow suite in doing what is best for our community and get our voices heard. No more waiting for responses on a cluttered forum, no more locked posts for voicing our concerns and opinions.

Please feel free to respond to this post but i urge you to do so in a mature or professional manner as i do not want this to be locked. I only posted this to try and get the backing of the community in pursueing what we all want.

    Xtreme,

Thanks for your time, effort and hard work, it is appreciated. Unfortunate that UBI has proven itself to be thief with traits similar to any con artist, thus forcing the community to attempt fixing their product, incredible they are allowed to operate in the U.S.

Anyway, I'm a PA resident, what network did you email?

Yea man it is a shame that we as a community have stood strong together throughout despite the lack of effort, but its our time to stand even stronger and let the world know that we will no longer tolerate this kind of blatant disregard to consumers.
