if ubisoft made another rabbid game, what would you do? | Forums

rayman raving rabbids 4, or rayman raving rabbids invade NASA or rayman raving rabbids whatever the ***k.
do you guys want ubisoft to continue with the rabbids, or should they go back to making classic platformers?
i personally think rabbids should stop.

They need to split Rayman and thye Rabbids up.

But if they make Rayman Raving Rabbids 4, I would scream. I mean, the Mario Party series is ridiculous enough as it is.

Continue making rabbids games, but either make the next game a platformer if Rayman's still in or leave Rayman out of the next game. The rabbids partygames can miss him, but then again who will try to keep the rabbids at bay? We'll leave Ubisoft with that lil' dilemma :P.

Rayman should be back in the platformer games like lots of us want him to be, with or without the rabbids (But personally, I'd like it WITH the rabbids just to see if their insanity can entertain us in a platformer :P)

I would just keep on with whatever I do and stop the nagging about this whole Rayman VS Rabbids thing. The fact that the Rabbid games are a different 'spin-off' game series was made clear years ago. I'm not even sure why the once seperated forums are back to one place again.

We had a period with very little activity as the result of another hack, so the forums were merged. The activity seems to be picking up though, but I don't think we need four separate forums just yet still.

Did you read this interview a while back though? I don't remember where it was, but it said that Rayman played a very little role in RRR:TVP because he had more important things to attend to or something along those lines. Hmmm.

Haha, I went looking for that interview now, but couldn't fint it. I found this, though.

DHGF: The Rabbids have really taken a life of their own. They even won our “Best Character” award for 2007. At the same time there are some diehard Rayman fanboys that feel the original star of the game has been pushed into a background (at best) role. Although I’ve still got my Rayman cart for the Atari Jaguar, I strongly prefer the Rabbids to Rayman. Is there ever going to be a clean break between the two franchises so old school Rayman fans can have their characters back so that those that prefer the Rabbids don’t have to see message boards and even the official RR pages cluttered with whining and complaints?

Ubisoft: The Rabbids were originally created to be Rayman’s nemesis…But as soon as they sprang to life, they rampaged through the studio and have been trying to take over the world ever since!

In the meantime, Rayman has had an alarm system put on his bike in the studio’s backlot…And he’s practicing Pilates until he’s ready for his next solo adventure (we put a restraining order on the Rabbids!) Don’t worry, I’m sure he hears you…

well i hope he does have a solo adventure, and yeh, splitting rayman raving rabbids from old school rayman platformers are better than no rabbids at all, concidering all the people that like those hooligans.

He doesn't understand the half of it. I bet Mario fans wouldn't like it if their favourite video game character was being destroyed by a bunch of things that live nowhere near up to the standards of the traditional franchise.
